Dr. Jim has had a passion for chiropractic care for the majority of his life. At a very young age he was exposed to the benefits of chiropractic care following a cervical spine injury. He found that chiropractic adjustment he received provided him with immediate relief. The result of this event began his interest in natural healing and the positive effects of chiropractic care. The idea that the proper alignment of the body’s musculoskeletal structure, particularly the spine, could enable the body to heal itself without surgery or medication completely fascinated him. This was the beginning of Dr. Jim’s lifelong dream of becoming a chiropractor. Years later, this dream was shared with his two brothers who both became chiropractors.
Dr. Jim’s educational path started with a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Professions from The Ohio State University. Thereafter, he moved to Chicago to complete his chiropractic training at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. During his years at National University, Dr. Jim completed several internships in the Chicago area, working with veterans and underprivileged patients. In 2009, Dr.Jim graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree. In addition to his doctorate degree, Dr. Jim also earned his certification in acupuncture by completing an additional comprehensive training program.
With a lifelong exposure to the benefits of chiropractic care, Dr. Jim has been able to create the most effective treatment plan for his patients. This allows him to focus on the right treatment for each patient’s individual needs, resulting in decreased symptoms with higher levels of health and functionality. As an OSU alumni, Dr. Jim was very happy to return to his roots in Columbus Ohio and is eager to serve the local community.
